bomb, that is. A new one, as the orignal Mk.1 4000 HC seems to have "location to world" issues..

as you can see in the accompanying screenies, it sits in the bomb bay nicely when the doors are closed, but when the door are opened, it just drops down!!

and it looks even odder in the air!!

it's basiclly just a cylinder with a few protrubrences (fuses)

here's link to a site with spec infor:

http://www.wwiiequipment.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=107:4000lb-high-capacity-bomb&catid=43:bombs&Itemid=60

So, a request to our 3d guys.

It won't stop the Mossi re-release, but it'd be nice to have a better one!

TIA!!

No cookies to share but a suggestion: If you name the Mosquito VI the Mosquito6, and include the IDF 110 squadron skin by LloydNB, I think the Mosquito6 could be made to show up automatically in the stock TW Operation Kadesh campaign. :flyer:

simple decal ini edit.; but leaving it as a 'nationalized IDF version" would work better. There's been some issues with userlists I've been experiencing of late (with the AN Hellcat, for instance)

iirc, the IDF skin could use a refersh .. got HomeGrown Templates ™. Used them on all the Mossies... you'll have

B Mk.IV

FB. VI

FB VI (SOE) -pretty easy to guess which squadron!! :biggrin:

NF XII

all new semi-compliant FMs, and lots of tweeking

all reskinned, all new decals. (although the B.4 is exhibiting fuselage decal bleeb with the 692 squdron decals, and Im not sure how/or what to do with that.)

Not sure if you got my drift................Paulo got the Ouragan to show up automatically by making sure the name matched the campaign data.

From the Kadesh campaign data:

[AirUnit004]

AircraftType=Ouragan..................If this aircraft is available the campaign will use it.

AlternateType=MystereIVA..........If the Ouragan is not available, as for a stock install, the campaign will use the MystereIVA.

Squadron=113IDF

ForceID=1

Nation=ISRAEL

DefaultTexture=IDFSilver2

BaseArea=Tel Nof Airbase

For the Mosquito6 in operation Kadesh:

[AirUnit003]

AircraftType=Mosquito6.........If there is a Mosquito6 available the campaign will use it automatically.

AlternateType=Meteor8........If there is no Mosquito6 then the campaign uses the Meteor8.

Squadron=110IDF

ForceID=1

Nation=ISRAEL

DefaultTexture=IDFCamo1

BaseArea=Ramat David Airbase

I think it would work if the IDF was in the Mosquito6 UserList and the date was correct.

P.S. There may be some reasons why a nationalized version with the Mosquito6 name may be a better way to go, as it may avoid some possible issues with the WW2 / modern day crossover. I have seen some odd behavior but can't quite figure it out.

Wrench can you post your "BombBay" data for the Mosquito FBVI I need the correct Positions for:

StationType=INTERNAL

AttachmentPosition= 0.00,-1.50,-1.30 <---------------------------

NumWeapons=2

AttachmentPosition001=-0.25,-1.45,-0.25 <------------

AttachmentPosition002= 0.25,-1.45,-0.25 <------------

made a sepearte statinf for the cookie...

I know it might be a little 'high' the fuselage (useing the free camera veiw and wandering INTO the aircraft to check!)

// station for 4000lb Cookie///

[bombBay2]

SystemType=WEAPON_STATION

StationID=2

StationGroupID=2

StationType=INTERNAL

AttachmentPosition= 0.00,-1.50,-1.30

AttachmentAngles= 0.0, 0.0, 0.0

LoadLimit=2200

AllowedWeaponClass=BOMB

AttachmentType=UK

NumWeapons=1

AttachmentPosition001=0.00,-1.50,0.30

DiameterLimit=0.80

LengthLimit=2.80

BombBayAnimationID=7

BombBayOpenTime=2.0

BombBayCloseTime=2.0

MinExtentPosition=-0.45, 0.75,-0.75

MaxExtentPosition= 0.45,-2.65,-0.40

the -130 up/down does keep it inside the bird, when the doors are closed. Wonder if that isn't the probme....i's the same place as the other bomds.

hmmmm sounds like a positioning error on my part

edit: I think I see the problem ... 2 attachment postions!!! oh, dopey me!!
