    1. 9-JG54

      Third skin in the series for the Battle of Britain Me-109e. This skin uses a different overpainting technique. The standard 71/02/65 scheme has been hastily overpainted on the sides in RLM 71 using a paintbrush. Two bitmaps are included in this skin; one with overpainting, the other a standard 71/02/65. You could use this standard paint scheme for any of your Me-109e skins, just rename 109ETexA.BMP by removing the A after renaming your original bitmap. Also enclosed is a complete readme.

      My thanks go out to Russo, Wrench, and Gocad for the use of their files, and their help and ideas. Any questions or problems, pm me.

      Hope you enjoy,

    2. JG2 and JG3 decal update

      These files update the decals for my Me109e skins. I inadvertantly uploaded files with miskeyed decal levels for the kill markings that would prevent them from showing. I also uploaded an old version of the JG3 decal folder that lacked the kill marking decals. My apologies.

      Just unzip these to a temporary directory and copy and paste the enclosed decal.ini and D folder into the proper skins folders. These have been tested and do work.

    3. ME109E 8 JG2

      Second skin in a series for Russo's Me109e. This skin represents 8/JG2 during the summer of 1940 and uses the speckling technique of overpainting common to aircraft of this Geshwader. The base scheme is a standard RLM 71/02 upper surface with lower surfaces in RLM 65. Nose and tail overpainted in RLM 04. All colors in this series are based on the standard values found at SimmersPaintShop, but are interpreted by me as far as fading goes, so they will appear different from other skins, or profiles, you might have seen. Also, my aircraft numbers appear in a more random order, because this is how I feel aircraft were flown in the field.

      All skins in this series borrow heavily from Russouk2004's .psd. I am indebted to him, and to Wrench, for their help. A full readme file is enclosed. If you want to mod this, feel free, I believe in the Freeware agreement I signed on to, just give credit where credit is due.

      Hope you like it.

    4. ME109E 2 JG3

      This skin represents 2/JG3 during the late Battle of Britain period. The scheme is the later RLM 74/75 Gray upper surfaces with RLM 65 lower surfaces. The nose and tail have been overpainted in RLM 04 yellow for ease of recognition. Lots of information is presented in the readme, please read it.

      This skin, and all from this series I'm going to present, makes extensive use of Russouk2004's .psd file. All the detail work; panel lines, rivets, weathering, etc., is Russo's. I am indebted to him for allowing me to use these parts of his file without restriction. I painted the underlying camouflage and created the decals, which include numbers for 16 aircraft and kill markings up to thirty kills. Hopefully, someday, I will possess one third of Russo's skill at creating detail work, until then, I'm grateful he's allowed me to use his, so I can at least get a start in skinning.

      I hope you enjoy this, and the others to come....

    8. F4F-4 Wildcat, VMF-223, Skin and Ini Pak

      Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat, Skin and Ini Pak for SF/WoV/WoE WW2: PTO Installs

      This package contains a new skin, and some minor data & cockpit ini mods for Pasko's F4F-4 "Wildcat".

      The skin represents VMF-223 "Bulldogs", as the squadron appeared in August, 1942, upon their arrival at Guadalcanal. They were the first US fighters to land, and be based at, what became known as Henderson Field.
      The skin is based off the originals, and was created from a new template, with completly redrawn panel, rivet lines, wear, tear and various scuffs, scrapes, dings, dents and general dirtiness associated with the SoWesPac. Decals for 36 'plane in group numbers' have been included, as has the aircraft type ID, and BuNums. (100% historical accuracy is NOT claimed for the BuNums, as I could only positively confirm the one used on aircraft #13; rest assured, the others ARE actual serial numbers used on F4F-4s, but I'm unable to pin down if any were actually used by the Bulldogs on their aircraft, other then the aforementioned)

      The data ini mods include corrected positions and the additions of, running, recognition, formation and landing lights. I've also tweeked the canopy to it opens to it's full extent; swaped out the pilot for a more US looking WW2 guy, and gave him a seat to "park it" on. -NO OTHER CHANGES HAVE BEEN EFFECTD-I!! Flight modeling remains just 'as issued'. Enhanced AI sections have been added, including the "StrafeAI" from post-patch WoI. The engine sound has also been changed (wav included!). Also, it is now fully carrier-qualified, so mission and campaign builders can use it from the CVs.

      The cockpit ini has a new WW2 N-3 gunsight tga.

      An experimental sound tweek has also been added, creating the ratcheting sound of the landing gear mechanism.

      -= NOTE: You MUST have the Bunyap Weapons Pak of 6/06 to get the WW2 weapons and guns and such =-
      -== This aircraft has been tested in SF/WoV/WoE and post-patch WoI (8/29/08). There still are some 'issues' with prop-plane flight models, but there has been a MARKED improvement!! You use it in WoI at YOUR own risk ==-

      As you'd expect, there's a nice readme enclosed with detailed, step-by-step install instructions. The Commandant of the Corps requires you to do so. The usual "Notes,Comments and General BS" section might make for interestering reading too!
      Feedback is requested on the new gear sound, so do let me know how it goes for you?

      Good Hunting!

      ps: in case anyone is wondering WHY all these birds for use in the general Solomons area are coming out is, I'm nearly done with an upgrade for the Solomons map. I'm just awaiting the new trees and such from the Original Master of Maps Hisself.

    9. 11 Sentai Ki-43iib Oscar Skin Set

      Nakajima Ki-43 "Oscar", Skin , For SF/WoV/WoE PTO Installs

      This package contains a reskin of Wolf257's Ki-43 'Oscar'. It is specifically designed for use on the Ki-43iib mod I released last year . Again, this skin is for Wolf's Oscar =ONLY= , and will absolutely NOT work on ArmorDave's version
      You MUST have the Wolf's "WW2 Planes Pak", AND my Ki-43iib mod to install this to. Both are available at CombatAce.

      The skin is based off the original IJAAF Natural Metal and Camos, and was built from a new template created off the original skins. All new panel, rivet lines, and other details were drawn by me. The tail Chutai marking is a decal.

      It represents aircraft of 11 Sentai, 2 Chutai during early 1942 through early 1943 timeframe, as seen over Malaya, Dutch East Indies (or NEI) and New Gueina. 2 other chutai tail makings have been supplied for those wishing to create the full Sentai. (full instructions are below in the "To Create The Full Sentai" section)

      -= NOTE: You MUST have the Bunyap Weapons Pak of 6/06 to get the WW2 weapons and guns and such =-
      --= NOTE: You MUST have Wolf257's Ki-43 (and my Ki-43IIb mod) to install this pakage into (duh!!) and =--
      - This mod has ONLY been tested in SF, WoV and WoE. This mod is NOT reccomended for use in a WW2 style install of WoI, as it handles prop flight models in "an extreamly odd way".-

      It is HIGHLY suggested that you read the enclosed readme COMPLETLY THROUGH before installing this pak; this will help you during the install process, blah, blah, blah, Notes and Comments section, and of course, etc.

      Happy Landings!

    10. Fictional Kazakhstan Tiger Moth Skin

      The newest and most technologically advanced fighter aeroplane in the world today, is the "Glorious Tiger Lion Monty Python Camel Terminator Eagle Of Kazakhstan That Crushes Weak Armies Such Uzbekistan Like Moth", or the easy to pronounce "GTLMPCTEOKTCWASULM" for short, or "Tiger Moth" for even shorter.

      This is a repaint of Wrench's Nigerian AF Tiger Moth, re-decaled to look like a Kazakhstan Air Force tiger moth.

      Credit also to RussoUK, for the excellent little bird.

      I have been told that repaints are fair game, just give credit. This I have done, and if anyone takes offense, I will remove it.

    11. AVG Skin Pack v1.1 - P-40B Tomahawk

      AVG Skinpack v1.1

      For P-40 Tomahawk by Wolf257

      Thanks to Wrench for sharing his superlative Template, and for the use of his new, improved ring-bead gunsight and cockpit.ini file. Cheers Wrench ;-)

      Thanks also to Wolf257 for his AVG camo pattern which forms the base colouring of this skin set.

      Decals, .ini edits and so forth by Baltika. There are a/c numbers, tailcodes and squadron markings for 100 of the AVG Tomahawks. Where possible I have tried to match these up with actual serial numbers, but the sources of information are often conflicting.

      What you get are three separate folders, one for each of the AVG Squadrons, "Adam & Eves," "Panda Bears" and "Hell's Angels." Just drop the the 1AVG, 2AVG and 3AVG folders into your Tomahawk folder and you should be good to go.

      There is also a folder called "AVGKills" which also goes into your Tomahawk folder. This contains kill markings for up to 50 kills. If your pilot has more than that you will need to start a new pilot to get them to show up.

      You may want to add the following entries to your SquadronList.ini - what, you don't already have them. . . ? ;-)

      Add to SquadronList, renumbering from the last in line:-

      [squadronxxx]
      Name=1AVG
      DisplayName=1st Sqdn AVG - "Adam & Eves" - Sqdn. Ldr. Robert Neale
      Nation=AVG

      [squadronxxx]
      Name=2AVG
      DisplayName=2nd Sqdn AVG - "Panda Bears" - Sqdn. Ldr. John Newkirk
      Nation=AVG

      [squadronxxx]
      Name=3AVG
      DisplayName=3rd Sqdn AVG - "Hell's Angels" - Sqdn. Ldr. Arvid Olson
      Nation=AVG

      Also, make sure your NATION.INI (in the /Flight folder) has the following entry - I'm not sure if this is stock with the upgraded Nations Pack, or Charles' WW2 Formations mod, but here it is just in case:=-

      [Nationxxx]
      Name=AVG
      DisplayName=American Volunteer Group
      Alignment=FRIENDLY
      PlayerFlyable=TRUE
      Mercenary=FALSE
      PilotNameList=NamesUS.lst
      RankList=RanksUSAF.lst
      CallsignList=CallsignsUS.lst
      Formation.Fighter=WW2USFighter
      Formation.Attack=WW2USMedBomber
      Formation.Bomber=WW2USBomber
      Formation.Transport=WW2USMedBomber
      Formation.Tank=USTank
      Formation.MobileAD=USAD
      PilotTrainingStandard=GOOD
      GenderRatio=0
      DebriefSuccessMusic=DebriefSuccess.wav
      DebriefFailMusic=DebriefFail.wav
      DebriefKilledMusic=DebriefKilled.wav
      SpeechFile=USAFSpeech.cat
      SpeechTextFile=USAFSpeechText.cat
      Medals=MedalsROC.ini
      MedalTextFile=MedalsROC.str

      I have also included a new Flying Tigers themed loading screen from a "collage" I found somewhere on the web. Drop it into your Tomahawk folder and edit the Tomahawk.ini file to include the following line, replacing the old one, if you want to use it:-

      LoadingScreen=FlyingTigersLoading.bmp

      Unfortunately I can't find my note of the name of the person who made this so I can't give proper credit. Sorry! It was freely available for d/l on a "fair use" basis, so I don't think I am breaching their intention by including it here. If you recognise it, please let me know and I will add a credit, or remove it if the originator so wishes.

      You will also see a Ring-bead sight .tga and cockpit .ini which were built by Wrench, and are gratefully included in this package. Here's the instructions from Wrench's original Readme:-

      ****************************************************

      = To Install Gunsight/Cockpit ini:

      Rename your original Tomahawk_COCKPIT.INI by renaming it somehing originnal, like "ori_Tomahawk_COCKPIT.INI"
      Drop the new "Ring-Bead_Sight.tga" into the cockpit folder.
      Drop the new "Tomahawk_COCKPIT.INI" into the main Tomahawk folder.
      You're done. This will give you a nice, standard fixed sight (done in black, with a gold aim bead). It might take a little getting used to, but it's much more historically accurate, as the reflector sights didn't appear until the D model.

      As usual, I can be reached at the emal below, or on the SimHQ, Colum5 or CombatAce message boards. With thanks to Wolf for creating this bird, and to everyone else who has expanded our gaming experience into other times and places!

      Enjoy!

      Any problems, questions, complaints about these skins, you can get me at combatace. I am a fully signed up member of the "Fair Use" modding agreement at combatace, so feel free to modify these as you wish. AVG Skin Pack for P-40 Tomahawk

      AVG Killmarkings

      by Baltika

      These are for use with the "AVG Skin Pack for P-40 Tomahawk" previously uploaded. Killmarks got left out of the original upload by mistake, sorry!

      Just drop the AVGKills folder into your Objects/Aircraft/Tomahawk folder and you are all set.

      Kill marks for up to 50 kills, so if your pilot has more than that you will need to start a new pilot to get them to show up.

    20. Syrian Texan (1948)

      Texan
      Syrian Air Force 1948

      This is a set of decals and a repaint of the SNJ_6 by Rob "Bunyap" McCray. The original Texan skin by Pappychksix.

      This skin comes from the Harvard/Texan by Alphasim for Flight Simulator X (base textures by Frank Safranek) and a re-paint by Henry William. My contribution has been to adapt it for SFP1 and so is minimal. I've used some poetic licence about the colour scheme.

      France provided Syria with Canadian built Harvard/Texans shortly after WWII. They were used in 1948 quite successfully in the ground attack role.

    22. P-51D of the RNEIAF, 1948-1950

      Hi,

      Another experiment.
      This skin represents H-325, a P-51D Mustang of the RNEIAF;
      the Royal Netherlands East Indies Air Force which operated from
      their colony.
      Several of the Dutch Mustangs were later put into AURI (later TNI-AU)
      service and partially retained their serial number.

      In WW2 this machine started as H3-625 (USAAF serial 44-84474),
      after the war it was renamed H-325 and the Dutch flags were replaced with
      the Dutch roundels. It was put into service by AURI as F-325 and flew
      with the Indonesians until it 's crash in 1949, May 1st.

      that's the story for this Stang.

    25. EALA 13/72

      The original Aircraft was an AT-6G (we don't have it so I use Harvard IDF by The Wrench) of EALA 13/72 Algeria 1958.

      To install, just drop the EALA1372 folder in your HarvardIIB_IDF folder.
      Thanks to Bunyap for the original AT-6 ; to The Wrench for the Harvard and the templates.
