New Skin & decals for four squadrons of Halifax III aircraft.

 

For the Halifax by Veltro2k.

 

51 Sqn RAF were based at Snaith in East Yorkshire and operated Halifax III's from early 1944.

 

76 Sqn RAF flew Halifaxes from RAF Holme-on-Spalding Moor in East Yorkshire from 1943 until the end of the war in Europe.

 

347 Sqn were a Free French Air Force unit within the RAF. Flying from RAF Elvington they proudly displayed the French Insignia on their aircraft as well as the Cross of Lorraine.

 

466 Sqn was an Australian Air Force unit within the RAF. Initially based at RAF Leconfield, they moved a few miles further North to RAF Driffield til the end of hostilities.

 

All the above were part of No.4 group (Yorkshire).
