Lex2Limit Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Hello Volks, I'm on the work to make Cockpit Lights Visible in 3rd and 1st Perspective. Like GKABS A-6 Mods. So how i can change the Light Source to invisible? Here some screenies from a F-4J...
Lex2Limit Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago (edited) I possitioning the Light Source a little bit in front of the cockpit Flight sticks, but there is a red Lightpulp like a Trigger Fireing. i don't want to see the "Light pulp"! And how do change this Values the light source? [PilotLight] SystemType=LIGHT Color=0.90,0.20,0.00 Brightness=0.03 Position=0.0,6.800,0.230 LightSrcOffset=0.0,0.1,0.1 LightSrcRange=0.5 CanFlash=FALSE [CoPilotLight] SystemType=LIGHT Color=0.90,0.20,0.00 Brightness=0.03 Position=0.0,5.350,0.350 LightSrcOffset=0.0,0.1,0.1 LightSrcRange=0.5 CanFlash=FALSE Edited 14 hours ago by Lex2Limit 1
+yakarov79 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago A-6 is not using a light source via SystemType=Light. It is an emitter. Vortex to be precise. Guuruu made this for Tornado and forced us to use it as often as possible. I put this into many data.ini already. example: [AircraftData] ..................... ..................... ..................... Component[011]= Component[012]=PilotCabin_light [PilotCabin_light] ParentComponentName=Fuselage ShowFromCockpit=TRUE HasVortexEmitter=TRUE VortexEmitterName=RedCABINLight_1m_Emitter VortexPosition=0, 6.83, 0.46 <--- external view, somewhere in cockpit VortexG=-5 and into the Effects folder: RedCABINLight_1m_Emitter.rar How it works day night (even if position lights are out) 1 1
Lex2Limit Posted 13 hours ago Author Posted 13 hours ago (edited) OK. Nice! i woul'd try! but how it works from Cockpit view? Can you turn itof and on? Edited 13 hours ago by Lex2Limit
+yakarov79 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago No... this shows only on the outside view. Inside, it is automatic via cockpit.ini entry. It is not ideal, but in my opinion, the best solution given the game engine limitations.
