Download First Eagles 2 - where from?

I've got FE Gold, which ran nicely until I moved up to W10, and apparently I'm not the only one to find it runs badly in W10. So the logical move is to get FE2 - except TW isn't selling it any more. 

Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!

Have you tried placing some of the d3d9.dlls in the folder with the program? There was a post somewhere (sorry, I don't remember where) about placing the dlls in the folder improves performance for the old series. Try d3d9.dll , d3d9_26.dll , d3d9_28.dll , d3d9_30.dll , d3d9_31.dll - I did find It ran the old series pretty well, although millage may vary.

the other thing to know is that while its in the Win7 part of the store, it will work on everything upto the current edition of Win11. the only problem i have with the Gen2 series in Win11 is that i cant binge play missions; i have to shut the game down after about 4-5 unique missions (not restarting the same one over and over). but other than that it'll be fine on any new system out there

The websites not great, you have to go to the windows 7 section and then click at the bottom "show more windows 7"
