Metricization question ...

Since you've all gathered by now that I've a boat load of A20/Bostons in the works, the next ones will most likely be the DB-7s used by the AdA and RAF, both the A and B. Yes, there will be a Vichy skin.

The question is -- did the DB-7As use metric calibrated instruments? I know that when the 7Bs arrived in the UK, they needed a bunch of work converting them to RAF standard. 

So, were 'the usual suspects' calibrated in KMPH, Meters, MPS, kg or liters (for fuel) and kpa for pressure??

it's a pretty simple matter to reset the insturments to metric, as it's a text edit

Google says that the Armee de' l'Air ones had metric to satisfy French requirements. Apparently the ones given to the RAF were metric too, from the French Air Force if I understood the text right.

they were, and the RAF had to replace the radios, instruments, and throttle controls, as the AdA versions worked backwards from everyone's else (throttle up , pull back. throttle down, push forward. seriously???)
