Opening Cockpits

This maybe general knowledge to the modders, but messing around with the Cockpit ini file, I found that I could get a cockpit to open without an animation showing in the lod viewer.

 

Linking to the planes external cockpit opening animation, the internal view now opens.

The following text goes into the cockpit.ini right?

Yes the item number is the external model canopy animation.

No other ini edits are needed.

How can i get this in the other direction. I have an Cockpitview canopy animation this is fixed with an airspeed indication. So you start Take Off with Open canopy and at a dedicated airspeed, the canopy Close. But in external View the cockpit is alltime closed til i Press the Animation Key (Shift + 0)

This is not mine, I don't like the cockpit opening when I am getting slow in a dogfight. 

This goes in the data file.
