Map Population

Hey, so i wondered if anyone could help me with this issue, i recently downloaded the desert storm mod, and have been enjoying it, so much so that i decided to download some more playable maps into my game. However, while playing it has come to my attention that while my friendly forces have SAM sites set up, the enemy does not, this is not a problem on the original Iraq map the mod comes with but any other custom maps by the same author, such as Madagascar or Ecuador, i am unable to complete or carry out a SEAD mission due to no targets spawning, which is not an issue for any other type of mission such as Close Air Support or Anti-Shipping. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

first off, did you load those other maps into the same install/mod folder as your Desert Storm one? it most certainly sounds like it reading your post

the Desert Storm mod  is meant to be a stand alone install. nothing but its contents in that mod folder

fortuneatly it is very easy to make new installs for just about any purpose. try another plain vanilla install, and one with all the terrains you have EXCEPT desert storm. then see how it goes

You're not meant to mix the Desert Storm mod with other maps and mods. The ODS 30AE mod only contains aircraft, ships, tanks, AAAs and SAMs for Iraq and the Coalition forces. Other countries are not supported. My other maps are meant for generic installations where you can choose from a broader number of countries.

Thanks guys, i thought this might be the case, I tested it on my vanilla strikefighters 2 and the maps performed excellently, i really enjoy the quality of life modifications that come with the ODS mod, would there be any way to port those over to vanilla aswell?
