malibu43 Posted Tuesday at 04:25 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:25 PM Hoping someone can help me here. In the attached .zip, campaign6 is from my "SF2 Campaigns for Desert4" mod that is in the downloads section of this site (https://combatace.com/files/file/14812-sf2-campaigns-for-desert4/). I have used that as the basis for creating a 1988 version of that campaign with some F-18s, F-16s, etc... (campaign7). In campaign6, all the units that are defined as carrierbased=true start their campaigns from carriers. However, in campaign7, only air units 004, 005, and 006 start the campaign from the carrier. Units 048 - 051 start the campaign from Dhimaq Airbase. I cannot figure out why. I have combed through both sets of .ini files looking for something that would cause this, but everything that I think could possibly impact where the units start the campaign looks identical. If anyone has any ideas or can help, it's much appreciated! This is a real head-scratcher... Desert Campaign Help.zip
Gepard Posted Tuesday at 06:17 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:17 PM Here my 2 cents: The UnitID=xx in the Campaign.ini is given twice. One for the blue side and one for the red side. It has nothing to do with [AirUnitxxx] in the Campaign_data.ini. You must count them seperatly. If i have looked right you have 13 blue air units at the beginning of the Campaign_data.ini. Then the whole red units come and with [AirUnit048] again blue units. AirUnit048 is the 14th blue unit. So it must have UnitID=14 in the Campaign.ini and so on. Give it a try. 1
