PFunk Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago What tool do you use to unpack the Desert Storm 30th Ann. mod? I can't unzip it with traditional tools without errors.
Erik Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Use the support forum for the file, big blue button under the download button that says "get support". It will contain common questions, answers, and file specific support. Throwing a personal question out in a general forum is less productive for the community and will get lost in the sea of replies. However, had this been placed in the correct support area I'm sure you would've read this great piece by yours truly which was an addendum to the original installation notes included by @Menrva
PFunk Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Still getting error message "cannot open as archive" in 7-Zip. No worries. Not that important, just wanted to try. 1
Erik Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Did you follow step 2? If you need to upgrade 7zip open Powershell and at the prompt type: PS C:\> winget upgrade 7zip
DoctorQuest Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago It is remotely possible your download may have been corrupted. Couldn't hurt to try a new download and give that a shot.
PFunk Posted 18 hours ago Author Posted 18 hours ago I might try that tomorrow. I think I have the OG Desert Storm mod on a portable hard drive somewhere around here. I may try that. 3
Erik Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago You only open the main file, the other files don't get opened. The install is not typical so please follow the instructions. You likely don't need to download another GB of data.

The download system uses checksum on the file automatically. If checksum fails the download will fail and restart in part or whole. 1
Mechman Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Right click on it, extract here. 7zip sometimes has trouble with rar and similar multi part file types, you can't open them but you can extract them fine
