Has anybody had the same thing happen to them in this mod? I cant seem to win a campaign, the missions just keep getting stranger and stranger, the last mission told me to destroy enemy 'fabrik6' ???, I am assuming it has ran out of real targets?

Can you be more specific? Whose campaign? DSB 1972? If so, some of those targets have german names as they were made (dramatic pause) a German so you are seeing the german name for the target.

Yes the 1972 campaign. The target was a section of ground, I hit it with 24 rockets and some passing yanks dumped a couple of tonnes of HE onto it as well, needless to say the ground was still there when the dust cleared and the mission a failure. The game length was set to long and I suppose I've flew at least 40 missions all air to ground. Its not a major problem just would be nice to have a definitive campaign result.

I should also point out that there is pretty much no ground structures or vehicles left by this stage of the game, a typical mission is to 'DESTROY ENEMY TENT' or 'SEARCH FOR AND DESTROY ENEMY LAMP-POST'

I got a similar effect too. I then restarted it and deliberately fluffed some earlier missions, and the whole thing is far more interesting then- replusing landing forces etc. I'd put this down as a gameplay structure bug, but it's not horrendous.

fireengineer,

I have not seen that, but I always do like meeware, and hose the first couple of missions to ensure that the Soviet forces land on the Island.

The new target areas I added each have foundations that are objects. I'll look at see what type they are in their _data.ini. I should be able to give them a type such that they are never assigned as targets for strike missions.

I'm going to release an update that fixes a few things and makes the Soviets flyable. I'm waiting on the Bucc to be released.

I also have the campaign length set to NORMAL. If you look at the DBS72_data.ini, I think I have max missions set to like 70. You can reduce this number and start a new campaign.

I don't know what the game engine looks at to determine winning conditions of a campaign. I have the Sovet's resupply rate pretty high, so I don't think you'll ever get to a point were they run out of forces, but it sounds like they're running out of targets for you to bomb.

If you have any other comments, let me know.

Thanks.
