Ok, something changed, have no idea what it is.....

For some reason, whenever I am trying to take off (from any field on any map) I throttle up, release brakes, and just sit there....maybe if I am lucky...I can get up to about 20 miles an hour. The same thing with engaging the auto pilot....it just sits there even though the throttle is pegged at 100%.

Ideas?

Trouble is, I have been rebuilding my installation at a fairly fast rate, so I cannot pinpoint the one add on or change that caused this

Paul,

Open up the targets.ini file for the terrain that's giving you problems, and make sure that target area 001 is NOT an airfield. That, believe it or not, is what causes the issue you've mentioned.

It sure is....What changes should be made?

Just switch it with some other target in the sequence. Perhaps trade 001 for 002 or 003... Just so long as 001 is NOT an airfield. :)

OK, figured it out.....

Now the question on my mind is this.....why did this occur?

I just checked the file from freshly extracted versions of about 3 of the terrains, and they are all have friendly airfields as the targets...aside from installing them, I have never touched the terrian (well, in this case crashing into them doesn't count).....so...why now and what triggered it?

Also,

Went to fix "AmericaNW"....

There are four targets listed there, all four are airfields.....

Paul, this is all you have to do with AmericaNW:

[TargetArea001]

[TargetArea002]

Name=Elk Airfield

Position=260500.000,345000.000

Radius=6000.000

ActiveYear=0

Location=1
