Guest zerocinco Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 How do we get the pilot skins to work? Anyone know? This looks pretty silly. All his buddies will kid him about the helmet for the next 65 years. (Got some nice Chinese and Burmese places, too.) Quote
pablo499 Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 I lost mine too. Just went back and downloaded new ones and edited the data.ini for the a/c. Only issue I had after that was with mig-21....had to edit position, wasn't hard at all though. First number is 0.0 (which I believe is left/right) second number is for/aft(or forward, backwards for you USAF types... ....higher number is forward, lower number is backward. Last number is height....higher number raises, lower number lowers .05 +/- makes big difference. Wrench's site has a ton of them, column 5 too..... Check out the Korean era, and 50's era here as well.... Hadn't messed with these much before(except the helo pilots), but there are some REALLY good ones out there. Here's what my Mig-21 looked like after the patch: (there was no pilot) // Crew --------------------------------------------------------- [Pilot] SystemType=PILOT_COCKPIT PilotModelName= <---- (add pilot name, modded ones or standard) SetCockpitPosition=TRUE Position=0.0,2.32,0.88 <------- (these are the numbers ref above) MinExtentPosition=-0.25, 1.85, 0.05 MaxExtentPosition= 0.25, 2.85, 1.05 HasArmor=TRUE ArmorMaterial=GLASS Armor[FRONT].Thickness=62 CanopyNodeName=Canopy Quote
Guest zerocinco Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 Where do the pilots reside in the structure? In a folder in Aircraft? Quote
