Same here ... I applied full throttle and climbed and while i was taking pics of the plane it just exploded !! :lol:

Engines not very reliable ... :rofl:

It is great to experiment with that plane. One thing i noted is the afterburners , the plane apparently uses supercruise to fly to Mach3+ , you don't see flames in supercruise , an advantage when you fly at night so nobody sees you when you hit full throttle. I didn't see the movie but i found some pics of it. If it was real the plane wouldn't last long at high speed with the step and gaps like these around the canopy ... :wink:

you can just adjust the SLdrythust in the talon.data file.

but then again you'll end up blowing up @ 1,100 kts.

 

trust me, i tried it.

i just jumped of the runway and blew up on thaT :rofl:

You know, after looking at the Talon quite a bit, it looks kinda like the YF-23 on steroids. Kinda close I think.

everything on the talon looks like a SUPER evolution of the Widow2.

you know the fuselage sides that line up on the closed wings seem a lot curved...

if only yo straightened it up, it would look right.

 

and can you make a vtol version of it?...

looks like a steroids version of the f-19.....

criticisms are for improvement of the one being criticized...

they are useful...

 

anyways got any more schematics of the talon and UCAV EDI?

 

since i am also a sclae moddelre i would like to build my own Stealth sets.

Tha Talon works, fine great FM, nice kicka$$ effect when you pull the throttel forward. But it`s not easy to hit something even with AIM-9X missiles, cause the seeker is inside the bay. AIM-120 works good.

 

And I`m not happy with the pit layout but this is a kind of personal taste, Zur I Mailed you some "pics" some month ago... But it`s up to you, and it`s your project so I will be happy with everything you release...

It just looked completely unreadable to me. I also tried the "no-HUD" floating HUD concept and because of the HUD symbology is projected... it just looked weird / 1-dimensional.

 

I may go back and finish the "full LCD display" and include it as an alternate cockpit in the future... but for right now, I'm running with this one. :crazy: Call me crazy... but I've grown fond of the existing one.

 

Weird about the missles... I've not had any problem with any of the loadouts?

maybe if you just do away with the dials and screen edges and display exactly the same info or screens at exactly the same locations without any screen edges or borders and with just a black screen background would it work?

the guy building the jsf f-35 mod is making a panoramic instrument display that you may be interested it....

 

 

 

btw, got anymore Talon 1/72nd scale drawings, fuselage detailed pictures(mock-up)

and decals and others?

 

i would be building a scale model,

 

i would also present possibilty for orders, with your name on the cockpit canopy,

 

if i got budget for scratch building more.
