Guest capun Posted May 3, 2003 Posted May 3, 2003 Hawker I read that the AGM-88 was the original HARM to improve on the AGM-45 and AGM-78. The AGM-88 was then supplanted by the RGM-66. It is supposed to be a High Speed ARM missile, can the AGM-78 be modified to mimic the AGM-88?
Hawker Posted May 3, 2003 Author Posted May 3, 2003 I suppose it could. I'm not a weapon's guru, but I can always poke around in there and see what I need to do to make it a HARM. Thanks for the info.

Hawker Posted May 4, 2003 Author Posted May 4, 2003 Updates. Canopy now double sided (glass), smoothed parts of the plane (see leading edge of wings), filled in holes at wing joint. Coming along.
Hawker Posted May 4, 2003 Author Posted May 4, 2003 A few more tweaks and I'll start the mapping process. Painters get ready! :D
Hawker Posted May 5, 2003 Author Posted May 5, 2003 Thanks. Here's an update showing the landing gear. Did lots here this afternoon. Added a small gear door in the forward MLG bays that quickly swings open to allow tire clearance. Added the NLG door window and holes for the sequence lights. Very close to beginning the mapping process now.
Hawker Posted May 7, 2003 Author Posted May 7, 2003 Lots of mapping progress. Still a bit left but it's coming along. :) I'm using Zur's decals just as a test (F-86) so don't mind the Navy/Air Force joint venture. hehe It's a very basic skin and I'm making templates for Photoshop as I go. Shouldn't be too much longer then I'll get the images to the painters for some really nice detailing.

Hawker Posted May 9, 2003 Author Posted May 9, 2003 H Key does wing folding and canopy closing. F key (flaps/slats) drops the hook when flaps are lowered.
