Does anyone know how to add aircraft skins to wings over europe?could someone please help me out!

The add-on skin has to go into the correct A/C folder. Meaning if you downloaded a skin for the F15-A, you have to place the skin in the F15-A folder. In the main A/C folder which you can find in the objects folder.

Ok let's go through this step by step. Just for example,I've added a F-16 to my aircraft inventory,Ive droped the new F-16 folder into the games Object/Aircraft folder (these new aircraft folders usually come with sound or weapon files that you have to put in the games corresponding folders.) Now I have my F-16 up and flying, but I want to add some new skins. First thing to do after you've found and downloaded the new skin post-24696-1177287986_thumb.jpgis drop it into your aircraft folderpost-24696-1177288334_thumb.jpgRemember I'm still using the F-16 as an example. Now that I've got that done I open up the new skin folder and open up the TextureSet ini. file with notepadpost-24696-1177288666_thumb.jpgThe next thing to do is right click on the TexturSet ini. file and send it to my documents for editing,post-24696-1177289507_thumb.jpgremember sending it to my documents leaves it intact in the skins folder so you dont have to worry about losing it. Now that you've got the TextureSet ini.file sent to my documents go back to the aircraft folder and open the corresponding aircraft.ini. file using notepadin my case it's the F-16A_Blk.ini. file, scroll down to the bottom and you will see all the texture sets listed 001.002,003,ect.Next go to my documents and open up the TextureSet ini. you sent there This is the tricky part your going to have to do some editing using cut and paste.First cut the first 6 lines right under where it says [TextureSets]then move them down one spaceNow you need to add a Directory=line in the empty space you've createdThe directory=line almost always =the name line ,sometimes though it = the skins folder name you might have to play around with it abit.Next add your Texture set numberto the [textureset]line make sure it's the next number in sequence in your aircraft ini. file. Now cut the whole thing from your TextureSet ini. fileand add paste them to your aircraft.ini. fileThat's it now save your aircraft ini.file and close it out, close out your TextureSet ini. file it's going to ask you if you want to save the changes I always answer no because I never plan on using it again anyway.post-24696-1177294345_thumb.jpgYou should see your new skin in the games loadout screen, apply and go fly. Alot of steps but well worth the effort learning how.

Try doing a research in the forums first.....this topic was just covered a little more than a week ago.....and about 1500 times before that

don't most skins already come with the textureset ini included????

If the skin has a txini, you don't need to add it to the main aircraft ini; the game engine does that automatcally.

You can, however, renumber them, if you want a favorite to show up 'first'.

Below if from my F-4B:

Once you've flown anything in game, yo can go back and 'move' the newly added skin to the top, and renumber. I haven't actually tried numbering them out of sequence; probably don't work!
