2 Questions: Mica / Iris Missiles and Planes of FE

Ive instaled the MICA Ir/EM and the IRIS-T in my WoE but they dont appear in any loadout i chose from. Ive tried to give it a diferent association with the weaponeditor and asssociate with USN/USAF/... and it still doesnt appear....any ideas?

 

And las, and my seem a stupid question...does the planes from FE work in WoE?

in single mission or in campaign?

 

in single mission mode check the year you are flying the iris-t shows up 2002 and above

i use it on the f-4f and for some reason in single mission it stops by 1985 for the f-4f

so i changed the year in the weaponsdata and it works fine but i still can fly my f-4f

after 1985 any idea how to change that (f-4f data ini service start year 1972

service endyear 2010)

The answer to both your questions can be found in the Knowledge Base 'Weapons and Loadouts', with special reference to the F-4F ICE Phantom II.

 

If you'll look in the relelvant post (for the ICE) you'll find an alternate loadout with the IRIS-T set to load. For years prior to the IRIS's (IRISi??) being available, you'll get the standard 9L or 9M winder.

 

You'll also find a section updating the data in as to sercive years.

 

And, it's looks like I'm changing my quote....

Yes i have used FE A/C in WOE single mission only. One issue i found was the lack of engine sounds!
