SWEEEETT!!!

Crunch and ElvisQ were in #1...the first book never says who was in #2, cause it was lost during the 1st Battle of Football City. I'll check Wingman #1 to be sure, though....

<vader voice> Excellent!!

Small correctiion (which HrntFixr got right!!) Durng the 1st Battle of Football City, Crunch was flying #1, ElvisQ, #2. Crunch's wizzo says somthing to him, but is never given a name.

In Lucifer Crusade, Crunch and Elvis are in the single, remaing F4, chasing Hawk across the Atlantic to North Africa (via the Azores, Casablanca, Gib, Malta, etc, to the final showdown at the Suez Canal)

The ADF Thuds look good! When the skin's finished, I'll post a mod creating an ADF version for those that want it...I know exactly what their loads are!

HrntFixr, could you do a G as well???

Now, all we really need are the Free Canadian Forces Voodoos....

Heh, I bought myself a nice 22" LG Widescreen LCD yesterday. I LOVE IT! I need a minor tweak though for SF and etc. My 22" CRT went up in smoke on Wedsenday. Eh it was old, served me well...

Unless you're talking bout his stint in thunderbirds.

I just started re-reading "The Circle War" and he's still flying his original.

I have seen an XL floating around... hopefully in the future it comes out and I'll skin it up for the Wingman!

Thanks Bib.... I need to get those from C6. I have Wpnsgt's temps.

Wrong again....

after crashing his C model at the end of Lucifer Crusade, it went back to GD in the Republic of Texas for a rebuild. They got it back to him, as an XL, just in time to defeat the Army of The Circle in Thunder in the East.

Return From the Inferno is when Hawk got it back after it got 'plane jacked'. Parked on top of a mountain, as I remember (ok, it's on the cover art...but what the hell...!)

Baby, you're dealing with an Expert here!!!

The Next Question is -- how you gonna do the flamethrower, Jim????

Ah.... i haven't finished Lucifers Crusade ... so I'm not back up to speed yet.

I have no idea how to even attempt a flamethrower gunpod .... man what I wouldn't give for one!!!

Hell man I'll skin em, some other WINGMAN fans can equip them....LOL

It's fun just going back and re-reading and then getting on here and trying to put a skin to it. Let's the imagination go wild!

The decals look bad in the screenshot due to my graphics card, which I think is going south on me.

Added the tail decal to the screenshot to show it in game close up.

Here's a screenshot of the "Twisted Cross" F-4's from Wingman #5 The Twisted Cross.

Yes the canal nazi's have an air force.

GCS0001.jpg

I'm going to make this a whole aircraft mod so that you can fly it. Gotta figure how to add ECM/Chaff/Flares to the "E" model phantoms.

Flew a test mission and had to intercept some of Fitz's Thuds before they reached the target.

Now before anyone goes off about the symbol... it's taken off the book cover.

Yes, the insigina for the Canal Nazis is absolutely correct. If it's off the book cover...no question.

As for CMs, just use the placements from the F-4G WW (inner wing pylons - might not be perfect, as it's based off J/N/S positioning, but it works). Don't know if the CN's had jammer pods though.

Interestering to note, I hardly remember chaff/flares being mentioned in the books. ECM was used a couple of times, mostly probably during The Circle War to penetrate/eliminate/degrade the SAM Belt across the Badlands Border.

Shouldn't the green be a bit darker? I thought the cover had darker green on the phantom..
