Ok here is what I have

[Canopy]

SystemType=HIGHLIFT_DEVICE

DeploymentMethod=AUTOMATIC_SPEED

Setting[1].Angle=30.0

Setting[1].DeployValue=10.0

Setting[1].RetractValue=5.0

MaxDeflection=30.0

MinDeflection=0.0

ControlRate=0.5

ModelNodeName=canopy

AnimationID=5

in Max Canopy is fully closed on 50 and fully opened on 60 (TCB rotation)

but in game it will not open...Any clues ?

thank you

well if I'm not mistaken the animations are numbered by the highest TCB keyframe, not the lowest. 1-10 = 1, 11-20 = 2 and so on, so if your canopy isn't open until TCB keyframe 60, you need to set it as animation 6, not 5

If this is what you meant,

MinDeflection=0.0

ControlRate=0.5

ModelNodeName=canopy

AnimationID=6

It didnt work

For AnimationID=6 you need to have a frame key at frame 51 (fully closed) and frame 60 (Fully open) at least.

Also be sure that the motion controllers for the animated meshes are all set to TCB. If you still have problems, set all of the children meshes of the animated meshes as TCB and maybe go to the parent. I had problems before where I had to set quite a few meshes with the TCB controllers even if they were not animated.

Also be sure that the animated mesh is World Aligned.

It looks like you may have your Deploy and Retract values the wrong way round. The Deploy value should be lower than the Retract value.
