Sgt.KAR98 Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 I was looking for the B-58 and I found it in Column 5. But when I was going to dll it,I saw it was in a weird extension 7z file. All the files are with this extension.WTF? What I need to open these things? Quote
+Brain32 Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 Well I have WinRAR v3.51 and it opens it. However it's a 7-Zip archive and you can find a free utility here: http://www.7-zip.org/ Quote
+Dave Posted July 9, 2007 Posted July 9, 2007 uses winrar it can open .7z files. It just a compression type. Quote
Lexx_Luthor Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 (edited) Download the 7z and try it. ~> http://www.7-zip.org/ They (Igor Pavlov) say most of the 7z program is under the "lesser" GNU license ( http://www.fsf.org/ ) C5 likes it, so I figured I'd try it. It seems to give very nice compression. Edited July 10, 2007 by Lexx_Luthor Quote
Guest Saganuay82 Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Plus WINRAR was seen by his ISP as WAREZ and he got shut down a couple of times. Quote
+column5 Posted July 10, 2007 Posted July 10, 2007 Plus WINRAR was seen by his ISP as WAREZ and he got shut down a couple of times. Yeah that was a huge PITA. Some penis-breath at my web host thought all .rar files were warez and they kept shutting me down. Then, they have no one to contact to get reactivated except some nebulous abuse department who they won't let you talk to directly. I got lucky and one of their support supervisors was able to help me out through back channels. Quote

Sgt.KAR98 Posted July 12, 2007 Author Posted July 12, 2007 (edited) BTW,I saw that the B-36 was released. Where I can find it?And the Yak-28P Firebar? Edited July 12, 2007 by Sgt.KAR98 Quote
+FastCargo Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 As far as I know there is no B-36 available for the thirdwire series of sims. The Yak-28P is around somewhere though...I have it so I downloaded it somewhere before. FastCargo Quote
+JediMaster Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 I seem to recall the Yak on Column5's site. There was a B-36 in progress way back when, I guess it was abandoned/unfinished. Someone was also working on a B-70 more recently, don't know what became of that. Quote
