Bluzman Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 New computer installing my games. considering Installing SFP1 in a folder "Flight" then installing WOV in same folder on top of SFP1 overwriting duplicate files and adding any file that is new then installing WOE in same folder on top of SFP1+WOV again overwriting duplicate files and adding any file that is new idea being A save drive space (add weapons pack only once etc) B integrate the three games anybody tried this or something similar is there a better way? any help appreciate thanks Bluzman Quote
+Dave Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 I do not recommenrd that at all. You can have a merged install of WOE and WOV. But if you want to run any SFP1 files then you will have to add them by hand. Also if you want to run all the campaigns you are going to have to have any files for SFP1 that WOE and WOV don't. Its can be done but the drop and drage over write is a big disaster waiting to happen. Besides will all the mods out, your HD space is toast..... Quote

sparkomatic Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 yep, even games that taut "merged installs" can leave you vulnerable...for instance the iL-2 series...if you want to play on line then you have to have exactly what someone else has, and if your buddy didnt do a merged, then you have to start over.
