+Fates Posted July 31, 2003 Posted July 31, 2003 Following on from the phenomenal response to the five jets we released last week, it is our pleasure to unveil another air superiority fighter. These are two shots of the remodelled YAK 141 Freestyle V/STOL (Vertical/Short Take-Off and Landing) airplane that is being manufactured in Russia. Be sure to also take a look at the updated ADS section, featuring new carnage wrought on unsuspecting buildings. Marc 'Plex' Olbertz Community Manager (comments?) Mr. Clark Posted October 8, 2003 Posted October 8, 2003 Umm, the Yak-141 isn't being produced anywhere, unless i've missed something. Quote
+Fates Posted October 27, 2003 Author Posted October 27, 2003 Honestly don't know....but...what's this?: Quote
CowboyTodd41 Posted October 28, 2003 Posted October 28, 2003 Ya that game looks pretty rockin, like a more action oriented OFP, rather than battlefield tactics Quote
Rick.50cal Posted November 6, 2003 Posted November 6, 2003 Don't want to put words in his mouth, but isn't this jet finished production some time ago? Or is it still being produced? Quote
+Fates Posted November 25, 2003 Author Posted November 25, 2003 The fact that their is a production aircraft is one thing, I think Clark might be referring to PRODUCTION. Honestly, I know nothing of the Yak, or whether it's in Production of not. It may just be yet another eternal prototype <C> Fates Quote
MCG_Rattlesnake Posted December 14, 2003 Posted December 14, 2003 FAS.org write-up on Yak-141 Freestyle This is from back in Yeltsin days. Global Security.org's data Says about the same thing. Yak-38 A much more significant Soviet-era VSTOL aircraft. Quote
