did you notice that in the first video the main landing gear lowered after the plane broke apart? I wonder why that happended.

With the extreme forces and loss of hydraulics, doesn't surprise me.

 

When a plane breaks up in mid flight, all bets are off. Any and all sorts of strange stuff happens post break up.
