+Gocad Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 (edited) Ah, decisions... Tell me, which set of decals looks better: These decals (like the Modex numbers) were made with the Amarillo font, but it's quite different from the so-called Long Beach font that is actually used. That's a different font, which is a lot closer to the Long Beach font. see also: http://forum.combatace.com/index.php?autoc...p;showfile=6628 Edited August 10, 2008 by Gocad Quote
The_Editor Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 The Amarillo font seems to be the standard font that skinners use on a lot of flight sims, so I think, anything closer to the real thing will be welcome. Quote
+Gocad Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 (edited) Well, I will be updating the decals for my Crusader skins in the upcoming weeks...it's not really what I call fun, but it needs to be done. EDIT: A closeup of the redone decals Edited August 11, 2008 by Gocad Quote

+suhsjake Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 (edited) Any chance of an VF-84 skin for the B and D (becuase we don't have a C)? Edited October 9, 2008 by suhsjake Quote
+Gocad Posted October 9, 2008 Posted October 9, 2008 (edited) Actually there is a C around (here), anyway, the reason why I don't plan to do this skin is simply that I have no clue how to get the fuselage stripe right... Edited October 9, 2008 by Gocad Quote
+Gocad Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 At last, a Night Cappers skin...available soon. Quote
