Multiple players via hub

Recommended Posts

Some of you may have seen my posts where I am trying to hook up eight (8) computers via a router so they can all play together. This is for the Vietnam “River Rat Assc.” Convention which will be in Colorado Springs during the May time frame. I was wondering if anyone else who has played SF PJ1 has done such a feat, and if you had any tips. Most of all, can you get 4 good guys 4 bad guys in this type of configuration?

I’m still looking for joysticks and throttles at a cheap price to complete this project. Any idea or suggestions would be most appreciative.

Thanks, Delta6

Delta,

you might try getting joysticks from EBAY. I got a MS sidewinder forcefeedback pro for just a few dollars. so this might be a cheap way to go.

Cool, does the force feedback work on SF?

I believe the series supports 8 v 8. You can't take some from one side and add it to the other, though, and you're limited to 2 types per side max.

So does that mean I can only have a 2 v 2 or a 4 v 4? Can you do a 4 v 2, lets say (4) F-4's and (2) F-5's going at it?
