delta6 Posted February 26, 2008 Posted February 26, 2008 I had all six computers up and running, and all connected via a hub. However, when we hit the map display, the aircraft you were flying was blue, and everybody else was red. So...does anyone know how to fix it so that Blue Air shows up blue only, and Red air showes up as Red only? Lots of fun with 6 computer sims wired togther and flying at the same time! Quote

Viggen Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Does getting rid of the BSOD count as a SLEP? Quote
delta6 Posted February 27, 2008 Author Posted February 27, 2008 In case you missed my previous posts, the computers are for the "Red River Rat" assc. reunion later in May. I DO have to give the computers back, and am not trying to brag, just need some help to give these "Real Fighter Pilots" a fun time. Quote
Miya_Sama Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 "red river rat" to be sure are you talking about Viet Nam veteran pilots who flew into Pack Six ? Quote
JediMaster Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Are you setting the server up as dogfight or coop? I think on dogfight that's the way it is, ownship is blue and all else are red. Coop has red/blue sides. Quote
triplethr3at Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 Thats true because dogfight was set up to be a free for all. Co-op has teams Quote
delta6 Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 Thanks guys, I'll config to co-op tomorrow when I'm at work. Any ideas on how to be able to have external fuel tanks? Its like "Instant Action" just guns & missiles. Quote

JediMaster Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 External tanks or not is determined by the loadout ini for that plane in that role. Plane X on "strike" may have 2 external tanks and 2 bombs while Plane Y on "strike" will have 12 bombs and no tanks. To alter that you'd have to fiddle with the loadout ini for each plane in each assigned role. Quote
delta6 Posted February 28, 2008 Author Posted February 28, 2008 Mr. Jedi, I tweeked the. ini files for fuel tanks, works good on co-op, and instant action, but would their be a way to get it to work on the dogfight configuration where its a free for all? I have a feeling these guys will just want to pair off to a 2 v 2 or something, with out all the other computer generated airplanes and say "you guys head north, you guys go south" then turn around and go to the merg. I'm afraid these guys will run out of gas before they can shoot each other down. Thats why all the intrest in getting extra fuel on board before the fight. Any ideas? Quote
