+Wrench Posted April 8, 2008 Posted April 8, 2008 From the classic Jimmy Stewart movie "Strategic Air Command". Available on DVD -- and highly reccomended for it's superb flying sequences. At the March AFB museam, they have the Stratojet cockpit (open on the left side) that they used for the B-47 sequences. Wrench kevin stein Major Movie Buff Quote
+Typhoid Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 there is something just plain awesome about so much airplane with "6 turning and 4 burning"! I liked the part where Jimmy asks about where they are going and the answer comes back "Alaska"... Quote
ONETINSOLDIER Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Ok,now see what you've done? I go to y00t00b to watch one video, and I end up listening to swissair 111 pit recordings, then I got sad :( Then I made A BIG MISTAKE and started reading the comments, and I got mad >_< I blame sparky :P Quote

Alexander51 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 (edited) "it's a good rule in life never to read youtube comments." "...eschew uTubed comment sections...unless you just like to get angry" Man that is SO true. You guys are totally right about that one! I swear that Youtube can be a real magnet for the STUPID. Legions upon legions of nitwits infest that place. There is this one Youtube post that has some excellent color gun camera footage from P-51 sweeps over the Japanese home islands during the final 5 months of the war. This one idiot argues that the footage is all faked in a studio and another (same one maybe) says that planes didn't have cameras in the wings back then. Well gee whiz and I thought I knew EVERYTHING about WW2 planes Get this - another fool asked about how the cameraman managed to stay on the wings without FALLING OFF.
