Weapon Editor

How do you make the weapon editor to work on vista? I mean I did put it to win98 compatibilty but when I open, save, save as, new, open, import/merge, on the box on the lower right, it just exit the editor for no reason.

Never mind, made it work but after I added a new weapon it wouldn't show on the loadout screen, but when I remove the WeaponData.dat file the weapons show up but not my new one also when the WeaponData.dat file is there, the extracted one, on the loadout screen there's nothing in the list of weapons shown, just empty.

Have the same problem over and over again, only thing people refer to when I yell "fire"

is the read-me or the tutorials, which I know by heart now.

 

ANYBODY HAVE A CLEAR AND WORKING SOLUTION FOR US???? (please...)

OK what are you running Vista or WinXP? Have you put it in Win98 compatability mode?

Like I said,

 

I put it in Win98 ànd in Win95 compatibility mode, and once I got

frustrated it didn't work either I tried to do it step-by-step as

done in the specified topic. Result: the same empty weapons loadout menu.

So, why oh why oh why?

Is there anyone who wants to help me in following:

-I send the weapondata.dat ànd weaponsdata.ini to you via e-mail.

-you check what's wrong and do the things as explained.

-you send the files back to me.

-I check it in-game and either do 3,000 backflips happy, or cry like a baby!

-you will get everlasting respect from someone who cannot solve this apparently!

Nevermind, I got it figured out I been using the wrong Weapon Editor.
