CHANGING MISSION DATES

I JUST LOADED WINGS OVER EUROPE ON MY COMPUTER FOR A SECOND TIME. I REALIZE THAT T PERIOD FOR EACH AIRCRAFT IS ONLY UP TO 1985, IS THERE A WAY TO EXTEND A SINGLE MISSION DATE TO 2000 OR SO. THANKS

#1, welcome to the boards.

 

#2, DO NOT USE ALL CAPS, it means you are shouting. Never a good thing.

 

#3, in order to extend the years available, open your Options.ini, in the root directory.

 

Once there, look for the following area, my example taken from WoI;

 

[singleMission]

AircraftType=F-16A_Netz

MissionMap=ISRAELME

MissionType=ARMED_RECON

MissionTime=RANDOM

MissionWeather=RANDOM

AirActivity=RANDOM

AirDefenseActivity=RANDOM

LoadMission=FALSE

LoadMissionFilename=F-15A_vs_MiG-23MF_(1v1).MSN

MissionYear=2006

StartYear=1960

EndYear=2020

Service=ISRAEL

 

In this instance, I have changed the end year to 2020, as is what I would suggest.

Thanks everyone for your answers, however I tried changing the year in the options menu/single mission, and it is still 1985 where the mission year ends. I'm not sure if I did something wrong, any suggestions?
