Mladuna Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Well this is the first news for me of this... http://csp.sourceforge.net/wiki/Main_Page I wouldn't hold my breath for it. But at least its good to know that people are doing their best.
Wolf65 Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Looks like an interesting project, I hope it's succesful. If it's an open project, all kinds of aircraft might be added as they progress.
Bounder Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 (edited) looks very good sorta like the beginning of SFP1 Edited April 30, 2008 by Bounder
+FastCargo Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 The only problem I see is they've been around longer than the TW series already. At some point, like FlightGear, technology begins to outstrip your goals. Unless you make the engine extremely modular, by the time you can release a viable project, no one is interested any longer because it's so far behind the technology curve. Bummer...because otherwise it's a noble goal. FastCargo
alex70b Posted May 1, 2008 Posted May 1, 2008 I agree with FastCargo. The graphic engine must be very flexible. Nevertheless an open source flight sim project is an interesting thing, every one can chip in and try to help. I'll be chcking it out for sure.
