WombRaider Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 Ok, I am having a slight problem. I am making a PTO/BOB/MTO install. I am having trouble with a CTD problem. It happens with every terrain(but the default desert, BoB terrain, and any other stock terrain) The game will start loading, and hang at 80% loaded. When it comes to the last 20%, the game, the game locks up, and puts me right to the desktop. I am using the WOE version of the game, I changed the minimumbase to small on all the aircraft. Like I said, it is only addon WW2 terrain I am having the trouble with, stock stuff does not CTD. Very odd issue! Any ideas? Thanks Quote
+Wrench Posted May 7, 2008 Posted May 7, 2008 Do you get an error message??? Do you have all the necessary WW2 ground objects? Do you have the WW2 modded nations ini? Do you have the weapons pak installed (for the WW2 weapons)? Also, you'll probably want to split that install -- one PTO, one MTO, one BoB (ie: one EAW Euro + the BoB). Otherwise you'll have Claudes flying over Malta! Wrench kevin stein Quote
WombRaider Posted May 7, 2008 Author Posted May 7, 2008 I have the weapon packs installed, the nations, the formations, and the ground objects! The loading screen starts, it gets to like 80%, then crashes. An error report is wanting to be sent, but I cannot make anything of the data in that. As for the split installs, I was thinking the same thing when I was in a dog fight with a Zero, over Germany! Thanks Wrench! Quote
WombRaider Posted May 7, 2008 Author Posted May 7, 2008 In fact, it is ONLY Edward's terrain sets (Burma,NG,China,NAfrica,Solomons,Philippines) that is doing this! I had these a while back, and they worked fine, very odd indeed! Quote

I had these a while back, and they worked fine, very odd indeed! Guys, 3 years passed on and this bug persists. It only happens with Edward´s terrains, as WombRaider stated. And only for axis planes. For God´s sake, it´s unlikely that after all these years nobody found a fix!! Quote
