+X RAY Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 I've just dedicate something for him,for one of the greatest aces and men ever. One year is passed by. If you have something to dedicate him, post here: Courtesy of: TK and third wire stuff for the game Yap and all of the development stuff Mike Druzolowsky-Mppd-for the F-4 skin Diego Lozano for the pilot (helmet done by me)
Spinners Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 As a schoolboy in the 1970's I remember reading an article about him in an aviation magazine (Wings - anyone in the UK remember that one?) and I was enthralled by his exploits, especially in 'Nam. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
ONETINSOLDIER Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 one of the last of the true fighter jocks, ~S~
MAKO69 Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 He was one of the best. I can only dream to fill 1 toe in his boots. So lift your glass in honor of him.
ezlead Posted June 15, 2008 Posted June 15, 2008 A true American Patriot and hero. Rest well,General, the young military people today are just like you. They have the lead for now and they will be in command soon. We just have to put up with the Politicians in uniform for a while longer.
+X RAY Posted June 15, 2008 Author Posted June 15, 2008 A great leader,a chief that takes care of each one in his team, I've read about the fight that he have to change the white helmets to a camo-later O.D.green-to hide 'em well in case of ejection over enemy territory. This maybe seems a silly thing but is a great thing in a leader.
