As a schoolboy in the 1970's I remember reading an article about him in an aviation magazine (Wings - anyone in the UK remember that one?) and I was enthralled by his exploits, especially in 'Nam.

Rest well,General,the young military people today are just like you. They have the lead for now and they will be in command soon. We just have to put up with the Politicians in uniform for a while longer.

A great leader,a chief that takes care of each one in his team,

I've read about the fight that he have to change the white helmets to a camo-later O.D.green-to hide 'em well in case of ejection over enemy territory.

This maybe seems a silly thing but is a great thing in a leader.
