Heck Swan Hunter managed to be 100% out on their estimate for two LPDs, despite building them from someone else's plans! Quote

I'd gather they're a bit better than the 688 class, since they have a pump-jet propulsion system instead of the normal screw, and a photonic mast instead of the traditional periscope... Weaponswise though, both seem the same, with 4 forward torpedo tubes and 12 vertical launch tubes for Tomahawks. Edited June 24, 2008 by TX3RN0BILL Quote
