Questions about Bombing

Recommended Posts

if i load 12 mk82 bombs, in WOI

(1). Take F-4E for example, Why the ripple interval setting have to set 1,3 or 24? why didn`t they design this number to 1,2,3, 6,12 ? If there is "6" i can choose, the aircraft will release 3 from each side wing, i think it is better for balance.

(2). In real world, can an aircraft set its ripple interval number to random? i just think the setting in this game is irrational.

(3). after bomb release, even if the number of bombs on each wing is same, or there`s no bomb anymore, why the aircraft always lean to one side ? it`s against the physics

Don't know about #3, but if you go into the aircraft's cockpit.ini file, the ripple quantities are defined in the first section. You can add more/delete some as you wish.

As far as random ripple intervals, I doubt that would be a setting in RL. It must be a WOI thing only, since I've never seen that in WOE or WOV.

3) Has been an issue since the original Strike Fighters was released - if the plane still rolls to one side after releasing all your bombs then a way to trim it out again is to jettison the bomb racks.
