THEJETDEMON Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 you could probably swarm an airfield with UCAVs launched from that. Quote
Falcon161 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Sounds like something from ace combat. This thing is massive and makes the perfect "Boss Battle" Quote
Jug Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 (edited) I moved the center of gravity back and lowered the thrust positions of the engines so now its stable in flight and almost ready for beta release, all that's required now is skinning and setting collision points and min-max extents (I can't seem to get the minmax maxscript working) Also this strange glitch started happening. The pilot positions are correct but I keep gettig this glitch Any ideas? as for the ALBM, she can carry Anti-ship missiles like the caspian sea monster, or cruise missile, in addition to over 100 bombs and assorted munitions That missile is the new Russian Bulava cruise missile http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulava_(missile) Has anyone got any ideas as to how it could be launched at a 25degree angle like the launcher Right now I'm thiking of 3 versions, a strike version (bombs and cruise missiles) an AWACs (with intercept radar and long range missiles like the B-1R) and an escort version (gun turrets) Most of the modelling problems are done with. on to skinning and flight model Have you ever wondered what would happen to those centermounted engines when the rocket exhaust hit them? I suppose for the same reason the Russian Su-27 family and the MiG-29 family have fenders on the front wheels and the MiG-29 even shuts the intakes on the ground when the engineers put the nose gears too far forward. Who thinks about FOD until you're replacing motors every other week. Then again, who am I to criticize.......................after all, it is good for the Russian jet engine production. Every launch, two new engines!!!! Edited December 31, 2008 by Jug Quote
johnrey Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Got the bomb-bays working That's 120 bombs in the forward bay alone, and it looks like there is room for another row Yes, those are B61 nukes Afterwards I decided to test the countermeasures by flying over enemy airspace. Yeah, they work pretty well Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw Mama!Talk about carpet bombing because that thing is HUGE!I havent logged in for days so Im kinda late on events happening. Nice work! Quote
