WOV: How to start game from Aircraft Carrier?

Hello All,

 

I have added a few more CV's and LHA in the Object Folder... in the hope of using them for my WOV. However, I am unable to start my game launching from the CV? I did select aircraft that are under the Navy banner...?

 

Is it that you can only play from the CV under campaign games and not single missions?

You are correct...mostly. You will only take off from an Aircraft Carrier in campaigns or user-built single missions. The in-game single mission generator will only result in missions taking off from airfields.

 

Is this in the knowledge base? Maybe it should go there...

Hi there,

 

You guessed it, you can only take off from carrier in campaign play or in scripted single missions written specifically for carrier start.

 

There is an article in the KB for adding carriers to exisiting campaigns, it's not too difficult.

Another quick question? Do you play scripted missions under campaign game play? I do not think that you can play specialize missions that you download under single mission play...

 

How do you select the specialize missions that you download and play?

When you go to the single mission menu, there should be an option for 'create' and 'load'. If you select load, then you can load the missions you download. (for example, WOV has a carrier take off and a carrier landing mission)
