+ace888 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Hello All, Anyone know where to obtain the download for the IR/TCS mod for the F-14D. The F-14D file that I downloaded does not have the combine IR/TCS under the nose. The F-14D file is from Typhoid with upated data.ini from Typhoid. additional update added was the F-14D avionics by Fractalnoise. Try to download update mod from Ravenclaw_007 using the F-14D file... Turns out, it show a pilot dangling from the bottom (almost right under the RIO) and no other changes? Thanks for any information.

gbnavy61 Posted August 29, 2008 Posted August 29, 2008 Had the same problem. Be sure to put the LOD's in the main 'Aircraft' folder - not the 'F-14D' folder. Then, you should be good if you follow the rest of the directions.
+ace888 Posted August 30, 2008 Author Posted August 30, 2008 Not working still... I am getting the same situation as i stated on my initial post. Will be doing some more brain-storming and investigation... Anyone... Just to make sure I understand, the file by "Ravenclaw_007" will allow me to have the right IR/TCS chin pod under the nose, right? Thanks
+FastCargo Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 That's correct. Where are you putting the .LOD files? FastCargo
+ace888 Posted August 30, 2008 Author Posted August 30, 2008 I place all the LOD files from the F-14A under the "Aircraft" folder, copies were place in the "F-14D" folders as well. Not at my own computer right now... I would of written more as to what I did, obvious... I screw up again! Thanks FastCargo...
serverandenforcer Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 (edited) Ok you should place the .LOD files under WOx/Objects/Aircraft, not WOx/Objects/Aircraft/F-14. The data.ini file for the F-14s is looking for the .LOD outside of the F-14 folder, not inside it. Edited August 30, 2008 by serverandenforcer
+ace888 Posted August 30, 2008 Author Posted August 30, 2008 Roger that... "serverandenforcer" I did just as you said earlier... I know I miss some LOD files, will fix the problem when I get home... Thanks again all... I hope I get it right, or I will be at it again...
