jayo Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Clean install of WoE,then latest patch/NATO-FIGHTERS I-II/NF-Environment/Forest and Farms. ...and no weapon list on loadout screen. Corrupt patch d/l or would one of the above mods affect the weapons? I'll try a reinstall with patch only and go from there... Quote
+MigBuster Posted September 23, 2008 Posted September 23, 2008 Be interested to hear how well NF works with all the changes Did you use the latest weapons editor for WOI to recompile the weapondata.ini? Quote

The link above results in a page that says it's "out of date or broken". I've had the same experience. Installed WOE, installed Oct 2008 patch (+ confirmed working), then installed NF-1, and all available weapons in Loadout screen are gone. I then installed the NF-2 add-on, then the Enviro-Update add-on, to see if they had a bug fix for it, but all weapons are still gone. There are references to the KB, but do we have to go through it and learn how to mod (and maybe even edit the file for every plane, gulp!?!) in order to get the weapons back? Maybe column5 has an answer? (don't want to duplicate post in other threads) Edited February 28, 2009 by WOEisme Quote
+FastCargo Posted February 28, 2009 Posted February 28, 2009 Yes, because NF1 and 2 were made prior to the Oct08 patch. You need to learn how to use the weapons editor. You must also use the most recent version of the weapons editor. FC Quote

Abso-frackin-lutely!!!! That's the only way to get the BunyPak to work, due to it's naming conventions. Why do you think that whole thread was created?? The "how to" instructions are pretty clear, and simple to follow. That's how I wrote them... Unless, of course, you want to go through EVERY single weapon in the BunyPak, via the WeaponsEditor, and reset all the NationName= and AttachmentType= to "stock 3rd Wire style". or use the Mirage Factory pack, and add the weapons you want from the BunyPak, or use the "Community Pak" or..... Basicaly, it's a "roll up your sleeves and get to work" kinda thing. Wrench kevin stein Quote
