Just wanted to know if anyone knows how to fix open canopies.

Also how do you make sure it is only tanks you are fighting in a CAS mission.

1. Think theres already a few threads on that

 

2. AFAIK only have ground objects of type TANK that are actually tanks - the new code may put in a few AAA units anyway which makes it a bit more realistic at least.

Wow I totally forgot about this post, I've just not been flying CAS missions for a while. Anyway what exactly is the fix for making sure you are only fighting tanks. I'm still not sure, sorry.

You cant, unless you go into each of the ground objects and either delete them or change their mission type. Personnally, I like having a mixed force of tanks, armor assault vehicles or SAMs.

1. What kind of vehicles are you getting instead?

2. Single missions or campaigns?

I'm flying a single mission, and usually I get SAM's, Buildings, AAA, and sometimes static aircraft.
