Falcon161 Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 (edited) Quick question guys I am getting back into skinning and starting with a fictional F-35 skin it i almost done, but I went to fly with it in game and instead of my skin the aircraft is completly white. Any Idea as to what I may have done wrong? Edited October 13, 2008 by Falcon161 Quote
FastCargo Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Usually that's due to the skins being named wrong, so the LOD doesn't 'see' them. However, there could be something wrong with the bit depth...but that's a bit unusual. FastCargo Quote
Falcon161 Posted October 13, 2008 Author Posted October 13, 2008 hmmm I'll check the name too see if it is mispelled in any way, I dont think it is though Quote
Falcon161 Posted October 13, 2008 Author Posted October 13, 2008 Definitely not the name being mispelled ugh I need suggestions on what to do Quote
Wrench Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Is there a 'textureset.ini' in the skin folder?? Wrench kevin stein Quote
FLT Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 possible mistakes: - The bmp´s are not named correctly. (Fast Cargo also said) - No Textureset.ini in the skin folder. - If availible use original Templates fpr skinning - Depends on the program you use for export the bmp´s, play with the options of export (AA,ICC,Bit,DPI) The most likley solutions are on top. +Gocad Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Set wiremesh opacity to 0% or delete the layer. Why not simply de-select it? Quote
