+Crusader 2,078 Posted December 3, 2008 just had a real cool 9X shot... flying F-15 with the left outboard missile selected.. target MiG-21 passing me at my starboard side, slightly higher than me ( 200 feet) , range 0.5 nm I fired when the MiG was at my 4 o'clock the 9X went out, turned slightly LEFT and kinda split-essed down, crossed my flightpath behind me, pulled up and hit the MiG ..
