Some progress shots, getting the fuselage finalized so I can move on to the wings and such:

It should be noted that I had to take some liberties with the patterns as they don't match up compared to the illustration and the 3D model, so I'll do my best to get it lined up but overall it'll look as close as possible.

Sure hope to see an arctic splinter scheme on the Super Hornet like VFC-12 has on their classic Hornets... but that's me partial to dazzle.

As mentioned in another topic, I've been mulling over doing a Block III version of the Super Hornet, just to keep up with what's been going on. Right now I don't have a timeline (just been thinking about it) given that the Block III is still a work in progress in itself. The main issue has been the conformal fuel tanks that the Block III will supposedly have. So far the US Navy has been having issues with it and may axe them. I'll keep Googling it to catch any news often on but I want to wait until a final decision is made. If they go with it then there will be a new model (hopefully FastCargo can do it, or somebody else with the source models can do it) as well as a new cockpit for it. Again this is all a matter of conjecture right now as said, there isn't enough information around to make a final decision yet. The other issue will be the fuel tanks, but if FC can work on it we'll see what we can do.

Managed to update the Super Hornets with real fuel values (or fixed fuel values, courtesy of alexis99), as well as AoA indexer fixes (again thanks to alexis99 for the fix). Right now I contacted Brain32 to see if he's around and if he could work on the Block III cockpit. Still no word yet but some of the gears are shifting in order to get it worked on.

alexis99 brought this up so I figured I'd put up my updated values. Looking at the weights it looks pretty much solid so sorry about that confusion. Landing speeds should be lower and therefore correct for the aircraft.

No progress on Block III since the cockpit guy hasn't answered his PM. I don't think he's active anymore so I may have to outsource it to somebody else. As far as the weapon pod, I'm not entirely sure it can be used in the way it's intended in the game. It can't be used as a weapons pod due to the game mechanics.

On the Super Hornet Block III the conformal tanks will be omitted as per  this "recent" article that covers the subject:

I'm sure there is a way to have them as "regular tanks" but given my lack of experience don't know if it's possible to have them mounted and allow a regular tank instead be mounted.

And given Brain32's MIA status I'm going to have to ask somebody if they can do the Block III cockpit. Unfortunately I don't have many reference pics of the cockpit so if somebody is interested in doing the cockpit, then there's not much help I can offer.

Having an issue with the EFD on the Growler (and the other Super Hornets) that the EFD main tank doesn't show full fuel even though it's at 100% (I checked). @Crusader can you help me? The issue is that I adjusted the fuel values for KG to make it more realistic for landing, but it somehow borked the EFD to show these images (top one is full 100% fuel on the ground and bottom is on the carrier). Attached is the current EA-18G Cockpit file for you to  work your magic:

The large box indicates total fuel, in lb's as set in the cockpit ini
Max indicated value is set to 32033.0 lb
The data ini should have the fuel quantity set in kg
Screenies are showing that the EFT content is added to the total indicated by the large box.
So the max value is set too high for indicating only internal fuel, probably.

I'll have to reactivate the SH in my install and then see what alternative setups I can make.
