Monty those look like AA-2 Atolls, wich were a direct cory or either the AIM-9B or C. The Soviets were better at thieving than creating back then. ;)

There was an interesting program on History Channel about that...a Taiwanese Sidewinder stuck in a Chinese MiG and failed to explode. The Chinese shipped it to Moscow and much like the Tu-4, they went to work.

 

One of the gentlemen they interviewed said that the Sidewinder was "like a university on missile design for us".

 

But if you like to fly Red Air, grab Pasko's weapons. I used them and some unclass data to make an AA-8...you will still get your butt kicked by a Viper, but anything else will not be happy to be in the WEZ.
