Terrain Editor Questions....

Ok, how do I get data from 2 different, but adjacent DEMs to merge??? Was looking at someing, and I can't get far enough North, as the one DEM ends at 40 N. I need to go at LEAST 45 - 48 deg N. Lat

as you all can see in the attached, I'm too far south by several hundred kms!!!

By the way, if you have both DEM files then the TE will draw the data from both tiles, TE will ask you for the next DEM.

That is what i found out long after writing the tutorial.

Was doing the cut/paste bit last night and came up with this (screenie below)

 

It just dosen't look right along the northren border of Spain/Bay of Biscay. Have to go back and repaint the water ... it somehow didn't translate over

 

So, if it allow for multiple DEM importation, I'll have to check that out and see how... expect more questions!!

Wrench, do you have NewTE, several years old now, which can import up to four (4) DEM files if needed?
