+hgbn Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 View File F-86D-31 Royal Danish Air Force F-86D-31 Royal Danish Air Force Esk 726 This is a Redo of my earlier Skin. In fact it's a complete new mod. This is a complete Aircraft. with better Sidewinder rails and a gun firring fake rockets. So now AI will engage Air2Air with rockets. But whatch the ammo. You only have 24 shots. ONLY reason to create a gun which is not historical correct on the D model is a compromise betwen realliaty and what the sim allowes I STRESS again had the sim allowed the AI to engage with rockets I wouldnt have added the Gun tray. but retained the original Rocket tray. How to install?? Unpack, drag and drop the entire Objects Folder into your WOX install. Add the weapons data and gundata into the respective ini's open and save with the guneditor and weaponeditor. IF you have Ravenclaw_007's late CL-13B pack installed only the tanks needs to be added in the weaponsdata.ini. I would like to say thanks to: The original F-86D Team for alowing me to use their stuff. Bobrock for his Templates I used. Ravenclaw-007 for the tank templates and sidewinder rails. Julhelm for the gundata entry. Vigilant for the gun. Fast Cargo For the rocket tray animation tip. Enjoy and REMEMBER this is freeware stuff and it should newer be used in ANY payware mod. But feel free to use at will otherwise hgbn Alias Henrik Nielsen Submitter hgbn Submitted 04/06/2009 Category F-86 Saber Quote
+starfighter2 Posted April 6, 2009 Posted April 6, 2009 First to receive the F-86D was the Kongelige Danske Flyvevabnet, or Royal Danish Air Force. Beginning in 1958, 59 mainly ex-USAFE F-86Ds went to the Royal Danish Air Force, where they equipped Nos. 723, 726 and 728 Squadrons. Another 3 were acquired as spares in 1962. Many were fitted with Martin-Baker ejector seats. These F-86Ds were operated by the RDAF until March 31,1966. After their withdrawal from service, the surviving aircraft were used as decoys. Nice mod hqbn, keep up with excellent stuff, I hope that you will continue to work on Starfighters Quote
