Hi all

I've made two Se5 skins one is a skin of mannocks Se5 and one of Lt Rhys Davids of 56 sqn. I wanted to reskin the exaust pipe on the Se5 but the exaust was in the cockpit file so I thought in for a penny in for a pound so I also reskined the cockpit heres some pics

That is very nice work fubar45. You will be making that available in the download section, yes? I began working on Bishop's blue-nosed SE5a myself last night and have the cowl paint sorted out and was planning to move on to the fuselage. However, Shredward mentioned in the "Indian Pilot in WWI" post in the General Forums that Sandbagger was working on the SE5a skins now as well, so I don't want to step on any toes here. I may move on to a custom Camel skin for now and wait to hear what the status is of the SE5a skins before I continue.

Cheers!

thanks for the kind words guys

RAF_Louvert I've almost finished a custom skin of a camel called bulldog

which I will be uploading soon.

I'm also doing a skin of a sopwith tripe which is proving to be a bit of a pig

because of the way the wing ribs are stretched on the 3d model.

I also do not wish to step on anyone's toes here :good:

Thanks again guys

Hi all,

Out of interest I've posted a few of the 350 SE5's skins we hope will be available in a future release (see the 'Gentleman's Agreement' thread).

Hi There,

We have covered this aircraft, but as you see from your data, his red SE5 was post war (i.e. 1919). As BHaH attempts to stick to historical accuracy, we've not skinned this red version, but do have his wartime 'Schweinhund' scheme.

However, I can send you this skin for personal use ifyou wish.

PM me and I'll send it today.

Great job! Please sandbagger don't forget Duncan W. Grinnell-Milnes red "Schweinhund"!

I believe the idea is to release all updated/new skins as part of the next release for BHaH. I know the German skinners are also hard at work, so I guess you're all in for very many more aircraft to fly or attack. In addition there are new aircraft being worked, the first of which is the Noop 24.

Are you not going to upload all these skins to the Download section Sandbagger?

I'm afraid it's not in the time frame of WW1 enough to justify its inclusion this time around. But a nice one to have one day.

Excellent! (is there a Snipe in there somewhere?)

Don't let Shredward know - he'll be thumbing through his vast data base to find it

I believe I 'may' have one that no-one else has!
