If you look at the very end of the tail you can see some black bumps and there was some on the nose too. Thus why it was called the "Herpes" mod.

The default SF/WOE/WOV F-4D that TK presented had the AN/ALR-69 bumps on the nose RHAW housing, but he did not incorporate them on the tail drag chute door. Some other small antennas were missing for this mod also. Would not take much to make one up - plus most had the round fin tip RHAW housing.

Would bnenice to have one because I want to skin some for the one in that pic from my unit here at WPAFB.

Are they the same lumps and bumps on the back of the A-10 as seen here...
