CH Flight Rig and TrackIR4

Recommended Posts

Guys,

My copy of OFF arrived this morning and I've been trying to get the simulation running using a CH Fighterstick, CH Pro Throttle, CH Pro Pedals and a TrackIR4. I have trawled the FAQs and posts relating to controller conflicts, changes to the 'Mine.xca' file and the deletion and assignment of axes within the game itself - all to no avail. The symptoms are either the failure of the controllers in flight (including TrackIR4) shortly after take off or a failure to function from the start of the mission. The assistance in the FAQs/post have failed because:

1. Deletion of the axes within the game and creating a 'Mine.xca' fails because setting axes fails as no control movements are recognised.

2. Manual editing of the 'Mine.xca' file to remove apparent conflicts has not resolved the problem

Is there any one out there with a similar rig who can provide me with a copy of their 'Mine.xca' to see if that resolves the issue or knows how to solve these problems?

P.S. My PC's running Vista (spit!)

Another Jet Jock in a Kite ?

Nope,

A WWI flight sim fanatic who has had to put up with IL2 etc for lack of a decent sim ever since he couldn't get RB3D to work on his new machine. I bought my first PC in 1991 just to play the original Red Baron!

Jets? Blah!

Hi Vasco,

I've a Vista 64 rig with the same items installed and all work just fine.

The PC is due out of the shop at the weekend (mobo fault), so if you still need help, PM me and maybe I can assist.

OK this is what I did for the CH HOTAS, in the CH Control Manager I set up a map with the map wizard had everything combined into one stick (fighterstick, pro throttle, pro rudder pedals) csf3 recognized them all and everything worked, so then I just programmed the map the way I like it and boom off you go the cfs3 settings all work in OFF.

As for trackir I can't answer yet cause I just ordered trackir 5 this morning (looking for some awful hairpulling and screaming while I get used to it LOL)
