Macklroy Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 WOW! Was away for a week and this thing really BOOMED! I Love it! Very nice work (as usual) Olham. Such a great group of V-pilots we have here over the fields of flanders. It's nice to see at a glance, all the interesting places, near and far, that we all come from. Bravo S! Quote

Olham, you're doing a fantastic job on this. This is the coolest idea for a growing community I have ever seen! Quote
+Olham Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 (edited) Thanks, Mack and OvS and everyone else - I also like to see this blossom. +Dej Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 It's true, this thing has really snowballed and I hope it's an indication that OFF sales are about to do the same. Mind you, though, folks in the UK are going to have to pick shorter names... although I hold myself exempt from that requirement Quote
+Olham Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 Yes, Great Britain is a good example, that the size is not important - it's the content. I have been thinking about enlarging the British isles in order to be able to place all future pilots there. Quote

+Dej Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 England is getting really crowded now! Okay. Make room there you American chaps, we need your bally country back, what? You've played with it for long enough now we'd like it back please. Bally UK's a bit crowded, dohncha' know. Quote

+Olham Posted July 28, 2009 Author Posted July 28, 2009 Map edit 07/28/09 20:30 Venator moved to Canada. As the American map is pretty crowded in the north-east, I couldn't make two dart for Venator, who's "head is in Washington, DC; and his heart is in Sudbury, Ontario". He decided for his roots. Well done - we need more Canadians on the map! The maps are in post #1 of this thread Quote
JimAttrill Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 I think this thread should be made 'sticky' so that it shows newbies how many of us there are and encourages them to buy OFF if they haven't already. Then put a link to the thread from the OFF website. Quote

Bullethead Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 (edited) Ohlam, it looks like you need to do some recruiting. There don't appear to be many Germans. Tell your friends and neighbors :) I'd do the same, but I don't have any neighbors. Edited July 29, 2009 by Bullethead Quote
+Olham Posted July 29, 2009 Author Posted July 29, 2009 My neighbour flies OFF since I convinced him, and also another old friend, who is into this. But my other friends don't like air combat sims at all. But I'll make me a T-shirt soon with some good OFF commercial on it. I am prepared to get spoken to by pedestrians. Quote
